Sea Green Juniper Pompom Topiary
Express your playful side with a Sea Green Juniper Oriental Pompom Topiary Tree! This cute, low-growing accent tree looks like a handful of giant green lollipops coming out of the ground, and it will put a smile on the face of all who see it. Our fun-loving crew at the Bower & Branch nursery prunes each one of these perky little trees by hand, carefully thinning out the shrubby growth and giving the plant a whole new attitude. All that’s left for you to do is to give yours a quick haircut each year to keep it tidy. Sea Green Juniper holds its deep green color all year and will look just as good in winter as it will during all other seasons—maybe even better, with a frosting of snow!

Sea Green Juniper is a selection of Chinese Juniper, an Asian species that appears in a marvelous diversity of forms, from carpeting groundcovers to majestic, soaring specimen trees. In fact, there’s a Juniper to evoke any mood in the landscape you’d like, whether serious and formal is your thing, or lighthearted and playful is more your style. It’s unclear when and where this particular selection was first grown, but some believe that Sea Green Juniper is the same plant known as the Mint Julep Juniper, which originated at an American nursery in the early 1970s. Its compact growth habit lends itself well to training as a small Oriental Pompom Topiary Tree specimen.
With its Asian origins and its bonsai-like treatment, our Sea Green Juniper Oriental Pompom Tree was custom-made for Asian-influenced gardens. However, this tidy evergreen specimen will complement any type of landscape where a neat, clean, uncluttered aesthetic is valued. It will add a bit of fun as well!
